Externally the left eye shows no defect except that there is a very slight oscillation, which I have every reason to believe has been present since infancy.
But internally there is a slight defect of the choroid coat, of long standing & quite unconnected with the choroid that is associated with his attack of ophthalmia.
The vision of this eye for distance is almost equal to the normal standard, and he reads letters of ... and with an appropriate glass he can see the smallest test types.
